Editor: Taskbar Executive is a cool program that finally does something about your pre-xp taskbar. It will let you launch programs faster and easier than before. But most importantly of all, it addresses the issue of 'taskbar clutter'.
How about if all buttons were categorized and organized under easily recognizable program groups? And when you click the group button, all open windows in that group are revealed? This is exactly what Taskbar Executive lets you do.
Make all internet related programs - such as browser, email client, instant messenger etc. - only occupy 1 button on the taskbar. Do the same for your photo and picture programs, your System Utilities, and so on. Clicking the single program-group button will reveals all open windows in that category.
You can also manipulate many windows at the same time. Close all open windows currently on the desktop, or minimize only the windows in the Graphics group.
